The Assistant Day &, Night Receptionist is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests from arrival to the point of departure, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Responsibilities: Support the Front Desk team in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience to all guests.Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing information about hotel facilities and services.Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etcAssist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservation management under the guidance of the Front Desk team.Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and daily reports as required.Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages, ensuring timely delivery.Assist in coordinating guest requests and special arrangements, escalating complex issues to the Front Desk Supervisor or Manager.Help maintain front desk organization, supplies, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications &, Assets: At least 1 years' experience working in a similar position.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work on a variable schedule including weekends and holidaysAbility to integrate and work well in a team environmentExcellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and ExcelGood telephone persona with a friendly and helpful demeanourPossess an eye for detail and ability to work under pressureStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem solving and trouble shooting skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
