Job Purpose:
The Export Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining CEMBRE business with current and prospective customers and executing the sales strategy within the assigned geographical area. The role focuses both on direct sales activities and on coordinating the Export Sales and Export Back Office teams to achieve sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Some customer areas are directly managed by the Export Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directly manage and grow sales within the areas assigned.
* Develop strong, long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction in the areas assigned.
* Drive execution of the Group's commercial strategy within the assigned markets, ensuring sales targets and growth objectives are met or exceeded, in close coordination with Group Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and the Global Business Directors.
* Lead and manage a team of professionals in sales and sales back-office support roles, fostering a high-performance culture and customer-centric mindset.
* Oversee development and implementation of sales plans, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and market penetration tactics.
* Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and propose adjustments to local sales strategies.
* Monitor sales performance, report on progress, and provide accurate sales forecasts
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, product development) to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
* Represent CEMBRE at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings as needed.
* Ensure the maintenance of CRM system with up-to-date records of all activities and customer information.
Qualifications:
* Technical education.
* A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales roles. Experience in electrical sector, electrical distributors or supplying rolling stock manufacturers is a plus.
* Proven track record in executing commercial strategies and delivering business growth in competitive markets.
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English, any knowledge of an Eastern Europe language will be a plus.
