Further information is available on the Company's websitePRIMARY FUNCTION:Within CHASSIS Purchasing team, the resource will be responsible for managing a complete product line in terms of both operative and strategical tasks.This includes:Suppliers selection and sourcing for assigned commodities. This includes RFQ activity, analysis of supplier responses and quotes and placing blanket purchase orders; Leading andfacilitation of pricing negotiationsDevelop / implement supply base management strategies both regionally and globally that lead to lowest total cost in terms of quality, lead time, delivery, and pricing; Support cost savings initiatives for commodity base; Support andresolve supplier issues such as accounts payable resolution, past due deliveries, and risks related to production lines and aftermarket customers.Support negotiation of basic contracts (GT&C, Supply Agreements, Development Agreements)Support Material Expediting for short term delivery issue and Capacity Management for mid/long term capacity issueREQUIRED SKILLS:Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred) or Economics degree or similar degreeGood analytical and problem-solving skillsxpavfwm Demonstrated ability to collaborate as an effective team memberGood communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPointMinimum of 5 years relevant experience in engineering, operations, sales, supply chainProven track record of effective Purchasing management in a manufacturing environmentExperience with program and project managementDemonstrated leadership skills with good ability to influenceResult driven and action orientedConfidence and ability to interface with senior stakeholders, internally and externallyFluent in English, any other language is an assetLOCATION:Turin, Italy
