JOB PURPOSE
The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth whilst increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The ability to communicate effectively to negotiate the company offering to the customer, to position Future’s value add, and to demonstrate the company’s full capabilities is essential.
What the roles involve :
* Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, formulating regional and branch strategies to foster growth. Build relationships with customer’s Senior Management through regular visits.
* Present Future’s value proposition by offering Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
* Work with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally by site, aiming to outperform industry and company growth projections.
* Drive key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site to meet corporate commitments.
* Provide high-level service responsiveness regarding quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
* Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Do you have :
* Proven sales track record within the company or similar electronic distribution business for the past five years. Educated to degree level, preferably with a technical or business background.
* Understanding of technical teams demonstrated through design achievements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and attentive to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
