Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators) have space to connect, secure defend, observe protect, explore, travel navigate. /ppWe are looking for an EMC System Engineer, responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of Space Systems. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAnalyze the applicable EMC requirements at the system level, deriving the lower level requirements (unit and sub-system). /liliDefine the EMC activities to be applied to the project to ensure compliance with the applicable requirements. /liliAnalyze and evaluate the adequacy of the proposed design, with respect to the project\'s EMC environment, both at unit and system level. /liliDefine, track and evaluate the results of unit and system level testing campaigns. /liliFollow a "bottom-up" philosophy, starting from the results of tests and analysis at the unit level, and analyze, by means of specific SW EMC tools (e.g., CST, FEKO), the compliance of a spatial system with applicable EMC requirements. /liliAttend technical meetings with partner companies and international clients. /li /ulh3Qualifications and Experience /h3ulliExperience in the EMC field, both at the design and testing level (knowledge of EMC MIL / ECSS regulations will be considered preferential). /liliDegree in electronic engineering or equivalent. /liliKnowledge of Matlab / Simulink, Mathcad, CST and / or FEKO, or similar tools for 2D and 3D EMC / RF analysis. /liliScientific training (Mandatory). /liliGood ability to learn new calculation tools (Required). /liliExcellent written and oral English. /liliKnowledge of the French language will be considered preferential. /liliWide willingness to travel, including medium / long-term trips in Italy and abroad (Mandatory). /li /ulh3Notes /h3pAt Thales Alenia Space we see space as a new horizon, helping to build a better, more sustainable life on Earth.
