About the job
The I-KAM (Trade Marketing Manager) is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase demand and sales of the company's products through distribution channels. This includes managing pricing and discount policies and verifying their effectiveness in the market. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales Italy, the I-KAM collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and product management teams to create effective marketing programs that support the company's commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Defining sales lists and promotional activities for the year, aligning with the company's commercial policy across all sales channels, and benchmarking product positioning.
2. Developing marketing strategies for distribution channels, including planning and implementing marketing and promotional activities aimed at retailers and points of sale, in collaboration with the sales team.
3. Supporting the marketing team in developing POS materials to assist retailers in promoting products and increasing sales.
4. Monitoring and evaluating marketing and sales performance using sales metrics, profitability, and other KPIs to optimize strategies and identify improvement opportunities.
5. Conducting market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competition, and using insights to inform marketing strategies.
6. Collaborating with the product management team to develop new products and services.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
* Previous experience in marketing or sales, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and results-oriented skills.
* Thorough knowledge of marketing principles and branding techniques.
* Ability to work independently and manage complex projects.
* Customer-oriented with the ability to understand market needs.
