Job Description:
The position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
* Defining the product roadmap by researching and analysing market conditions, identifying key competitors and trends.
* Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
* Articulating key market requirements, identifying opportunities for product innovation and enhancements.
* Working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure development targets and customer satisfaction goals are met.
* Planning and executing strategic initiatives to develop the business by exploiting opportunities provided by current and future technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Key accountabilities:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap.
* Deliver market and product requirements.
* Develop and secure significant new initiatives impacting revenue.
* Collaborate with customers, partners, and third parties on partnerships and licensing opportunities.
* Act as a program/project manager to plan and execute beta and discovery programs for early-stage products, overseeing new product development activities.
* Serve as an expert in the application field and competition, supporting sales and marketing with product knowledge and technical expertise.
* Enhance cross-functional collaboration and foster trust among teams.
* Liaise with advertising and PR to promote the product.
Position Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; an MBA is a plus.
* Solid experience as a Product Manager or in Business Development within the food & beverage industry (both customer and supplier sides).
* Proven success in defining and launching components/devices on the market.
* Knowledge of food & beverage industry standards.
* Project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
* Problem analysis, strategic thinking, and data analysis skills for deriving insights and troubleshooting.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid changes.
* Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
