As an AM, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, handle and develop key accounts, and promote our CMD product portfolio to customers across various industries. An effective AM maintains long-lasting customer relationships and collaborates effectively to provide outstanding support and customer experience, making it easier for our customers to do business with Thermo Fisher Scientific. The AM is the primary contact point, providing sales expertise and driving all CMD commercial activities within the account. Key responsibilities: Selling Agility Identify and prioritize new client opportunities, develop solution implementation and growth strategies. Increase share of wallet within existing accounts by identifying underpenetrated areas, demonstrating CMD’s value proposition, designing solutions, and closing opportunities. Develop strong relationships with customer accounts and engage with buying influencers across their organization. Manage all elements of the sales process from qualification, quotations, negotiating contracts, to closing orders with decision-maker contacts. Utilize data to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and enhance market penetration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. Drives Growth Expand current account penetration and share of wallet. Grow organically, broader, and deeper across primary products. Leverage cross-sell activities. Manage territory direction; develop sales strategies to meet or exceed plans; maintain a pipeline of opportunities. Use internal sales tools effectively to manage leads, prospects, accounts, activities, and sales funnel. Stay aware of competitor and industry activities; introduce new products and services as they become available. Leadership Lead teamwork and coordination with sales, technical, field application, lab application, and IES specialists, as well as other internal partners, to provide technical expertise and advance sales. Coordinate technical presentations; attend trade shows, user meetings, and customer events; represent Thermo Fisher Scientific professionally. Share account information and sales leads within and across divisions. Work effectively in a team-selling environment, engaging internal resources to address customer challenges. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 5 years of proven sales experience in analytical instrument markets, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue. Bachelor’s degree in sciences. Ability to explain and sell the technical aspects of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry products. Strong market knowledge and professional network. Experience in conducting on-site customer seminars and technical presentations. Commercial mindset, motivated by winning new business, with a relentless pursuit of market share. Ability to work cross-functionally in matrix environments. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight stays.
