Also, improving business development processes for specific services and products with strong sales engagements in your responsibility country.ResponsibilitiesAssist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), preparing presentations, and monitoring sales leads and responses.Develop and implement sales plans and campaigns to capitalize on market opportunities.Prepare annual/monthly budgets and reports, and achieve targeted budgets.Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.Work closely with sales and operations management to develop creative solutions that meet customer needs and create value.Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships for better market penetration.Conduct regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance, address challenges, and discuss future plans.Provide marketing support and product/service knowledge within the company.Ensure timely collection of payments before shipping to optimize cash flow.Achieve and exceed performance goals.Qualifications / ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of work and education/experience.Charismatic and confident personality with a strong work ethic.Minimum of 5 years industry experience, particularly in sales within the freight forwarding industry in Italy.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical decision-making abilities.Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.Ability to work under pressure.Please note: To apply for this role, prior experience in a sales role within the freight forwarding industry in Italy is required.
