Operating in over 175 countries, we deliver advanced solutions that help customers manage power safely, efficiently, and reliably. /ppWithin Eaton’s Electrical portfolio, the Vacuum Interrupter product line is a key medium‑voltage technology supporting circuit breakers, contactors, and switchgear solutions. /ppTo support the growth of this business, we are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive end‑to‑end business development for Vacuum Interrupter and related products. The role focuses on commercial strategy, go‑to‑market execution, and channel development, working closely with internal sales teams, distributors, agents, and switchgear partners. /ppThe position covers Italy and surrounding countries and is accountable for achieving sales, margin, market share, and profit plan targets in alignment with regional and global stakeholders. /ph3What you’ll do: /h3ulliOwn revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the Vacuum Interrupter product line, driving sales growth across trade and intercompany business in line with profit plans and new‑product business cases. /liliDefine and execute mid‑ to long‑term commercial strategies to optimize sales performance, margins, and market share across the assigned countries. /liliCollaborate cross‑functionally with Operations (Suzhou plant), Global Engineering, Regional and Local Sales, and Product Management to ensure the right product offering and fast customer response times, supporting the CPCD strategy. /liliDevelop and activate indirect sales channels, including partner programs such as Powered by Eaton Technology, by identifying and enabling key switchgear partners in the region. /liliAct as the primary commercial and technical interface for customers, supporting key accounts with product positioning, channel strategy, and technical guidance. /liliLeverage market and customer insights by monitoring trends and competitor activity, and translating Voice‑of‑Customer feedback into input for regional strategy, product roadmaps, and RD priorities. /li /ulh3Qualifications: /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a similar commercial role within the electrical industry, preferably in a medium‑voltage environment. /liliStrong preference for experience with manufacturers of medium‑voltage vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs) or related MV equipment. /liliSolid technical knowledge of medium‑voltage systems, including short‑circuit protection principles, switchgear, circuit protection, and product applications. /liliGood understanding of markets, applications, and customers related to Vacuum Interrupter (VI) products. /li /ulh3Skills: /h3ulliFluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /liliDemonstrated creative and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable solutions. /liliProven ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, results‑driven environment. /liliStrong global and regional market awareness, with the ability to understand industry dynamics and customer needs. /liliExcellent planning, organization, and strategic thinking capabilities. /liliAdvanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. /liliStrong business acumen, with experience using data and statistical analysis to assess market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics. /liliEffective communication and presentation skills, with confidence in public speaking and participation in internal and external meetings. /li /ulh3We Offer: /h3ulliA permanent contract with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. /liliThe opportunity to work on challenging projects within a dynamic and collaborative team, in an international environment. /liliCareer development and internal mobility opportunities—Eaton actively encourages internal promotion whenever possible. /liliA strong focus on professional growth, with continuous learning and development opportunities supported through Eaton University and other global training programs. /liliThe chance to make a meaningful impact—reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the heart of our mission to improve quality of life and protect the environment through innovative power management technologies. /liliA strong commitment to employee wellbeing, with health and safety as a top priority.
