- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities, industrial clients, and renewable energy developers.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design, proposal preparation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, including utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.
- Compliance & Grid Requirements:
- Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for seamless BESS integration into the power grid.
- Stay informed on changes in grid codes, transmission line requirements, and energy storage regulations.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and R&D; teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management, with a focus on BESS, PCS, or EMS.
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance requirements (IEC, IEEE standards).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and grid codes for integrating energy storage systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and project site visits.
