PpZygo Corporation is looking for an experienced and result‑orientated Sales Manager to drive our growth across multiple markets. The position is ideally located at AMETEK Srl headquarters near Milan, Italy. This individual is responsible for strategic sales growth in Italy and the position reports to the Regional Sales Director – Europe. /p pAs a key member of the company’s sales leadership team, the Sales Manager regularly partners with business leadership to create and execute strategy, develop growth plans and budgets, and provide sales forecasts for operational and financial planning. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop a strategic plan to deliver strong growth across all related markets in Italy and products that delivers consistent profitable growth /li liManage both direct and indirect sales channels (as needed) to develop and execute localized tactical plans to deliver growth in excess of national GDP growth. /li liManage pricing and discounting to balance growth and achieve profitable growth. /li liChampion Key Account relationships within key markets /li liCombine technical and application background with active sales performance. /li liManage and coordinate work with European Application/ Service Engineer to ensure that World Class Customer Service level is delivered coupled with strong revenue growth /li liWork closely with the Metrology Division to develop sales strategies that deliver growth for all product lines /li liWork with European based Marcom team to develop an Italian communications strategy to grow leads 10% / annum through multiple channels including websites, SEO, Social Media, print media, tradeshows, seminars, webinars, etc. /li liReport and provide formal feedback to Zygo management on performance within the region /li /ul h3Requirements For Consideration /h3 ul liExperience 3-5 yrs in sales with technical background for high tech product (capex), in the Electronics, Semiconductor, Optics, Defense Space, and automotive industry /li liBackground within a technical specialty preferred Engineering Qualification (bachelor’s degree) /li liMetrology and application experience within Optics, Defense, Space and/or automotive market an advantage /li liStrong ability to communicate to sales, engineering, operations and management teams on all levels (internal and external) /li liExcellent written, verbal English and Italian skills /li liKnowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools /li liDemonstrate flexibility, tenacity and drive in delivering objectives /li liBe comfortable with travelling - up to 40% /li /ul pZygo Corporation is a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical metrology systems and ultra‑precise optical components and assemblies.
