kp is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager for our Medical Device Business. The role will be accountable for representing kp as the primary face to the customer, building strong relationships, and executing sales strategies at various accounts within Western Europe, including Nordics and UK. The position is remote, preferably based in France or Italy.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
* Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers, expanding customer intimacy.
* Understand our customers' business and strengthen relationships by engaging with purchasing, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering, marketing, and business development teams.
* Establish and enhance the Relationship Map through market, industry, and customer research, understanding key goals and strategies related to finance, operations, product, and patient acquisition.
* Gain a working understanding of the Medical Device market segment, including product portfolios, service offerings, application requirements, manufacturing processes, and quality/regulatory standards. A moderate level of technical knowledge is essential.
* Align value propositions with customers and prospects, highlighting differentiation and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
* Build a robust project pipeline within the territory and manage it via accurate and timely CRM documentation.
* Manage your book of business, including OE and OB, with financial acumen.
* Manage pricing strategies and adjustments to maximize profit, supported by sales controlling.
* Travel within and outside the territory as needed for customer meetings, value-stream activities, or marketing purposes.
Requirements :
* Commercial or technical education with 4-8 years of experience in selling sophisticated products, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
* Knowledge of polymers and related conversion processes (calendaring, extrusion, lamination, etc.).
* Experience designing and implementing disciplined sales plans and processes.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills with a problem-solving mindset.
* Proficiency in MS Office; SAP and Salesforce.com knowledge is advantageous.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Financial skills to evaluate business implications of customer decisions.
* Highly organized, self-managed, with excellent time management and decision-making skills.
* Ability to drive aggressive growth with a strong sense of urgency.
* Challenger mindset, capable of motivating customers, challenging ideas, and building constructive relationships.
* Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian or Spanish are a plus. #LI-REMOTE
