Role Description The Area Manager / Agente di Commercio B2B – Sud Italia will develop and manage B2B sales for Hercules Solar Systems across Southern Italy, with a primary base in Palermo. This is a contract, hybrid role, combining client-facing field work with some work-from-home flexibility. Key responsibilities include prospecting and acquiring new commercial clients, managing and growing existing accounts, and presenting tailored solar solutions to installers, distributors, and business customers. The role involves preparing quotations and proposals, negotiating contract terms, and coordinating closely with technical and operations teams to ensure accurate project delivery. The Area Manager will monitor market trends and competitors, maintain an up-to-date CRM, provide regular sales forecasts and reports, and represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings throughout the region.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in B2B field sales or commercial agency work, ideally in renewable energy, electrical, or construction-related sectors.
* Strong ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Solid account management skills, including building long-term customer relationships and managing pipelines and forecasts.
* Comfort working in a hybrid model based in Palermo, with frequent travel across Southern Italy to visit clients and partners.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business-focused terms.
* High level of autonomy, organization, and time management, with a structured approach to planning visits, reporting, and follow-ups.
* Knowledge or strong interest in solar PV solutions and the broader renewable energy market is highly desirable.
* Professional proficiency in Italian and good working knowledge of English for communication with internal teams and partners.
* Comfort using CRM tools, productivity software, and digital communication platforms to manage sales activities and reporting. xjrgpwk
