Scope
Operate and perform a broad range of Process Science activities supporting team, department, and company objectives. This includes laboratory work within operational areas, collaborating with associates at all levels, coaching, mentoring, and driving standards. The role involves driving and implementing downscale models and process improvements based on the Quality by Design approach.
In this role, you will :
* Develop small-scale models to support troubleshooting and process improvements, enhancing manufacturing process robustness.
* Collaborate closely within Process Science and cross-functional teams (MSAT Manufacturing Support & Stewardship, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and TRD).
* Plan and prioritize laboratory work, providing feedback to Process Science Leads, ensuring standards of safety, quality, and productivity are met.
* Continuously develop your skills, improve performance, and transfer knowledge to team members.
* Propose and apply innovative technologies (e.g., PAT, SuS) to improve process robustness.
* Build effective relationships with managers, colleagues, and team members.
* Ensure GMP, housekeeping, and safety standards are maintained within your area, following GSK guidelines.
* Participate in ad hoc projects related to process robustness, tech transfer, and methods development as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Basic Qualifications :
We seek professionals with these skills :
* A degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy, or equivalent scientific field with industry experience.
* Proven experience in process development support roles.
* Fluent in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications :
Skills that are advantageous but not mandatory include :
* Process understanding (small-scale vaccines/biologics, GMP, regulatory aspects).
