We are constantly growing our business and are looking for a Business Development Manager DACH to join our company. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has been successful in a sales or marketing role in the industry, or as a Product Manager or Lab Application Specialist, and who wishes to grow professionally in sales. Main responsibilities : Supporting the implementation of sales strategies and business growth for the area of expertise in accordance with company objectives for our lines of business (Laboratory Equipment and Analytical Instruments); Establishing and reinforcing partnerships with the distribution network, relating to the various stakeholders of the organization; Collaborating with internal teams (marketing and service) to ensure alignment on commercial activities; Visiting local customers and distributors to ensure their expectations are fulfilled and to understand future needs; Managing budget activities: creation, implementation, and control of medium-term plans; Organizing and supporting training sessions for distributors and end customers; Providing technical and analytical pre-sales support. Requirements : Resident in Germany, home-based; 3 to 5 years of experience in a commercial role in sales & marketing within our industry, or extensive knowledge of laboratory processes (as an application specialist or scientist) aiming to transition into a commercial role in analytical instrumentation, with a strong focus or interest in sales activities; German native speaker, English knowledge at least B1/B2; Strong communication and negotiation skills; Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus for creating and updating contacts, qualifying leads, and managing opportunities; Willing to travel up to 50% of the time within DACH territory and to Italy VELP HQ (near Milan); Availability to spend a period in Italy for intensive training before starting the role.
