We are searching for a Technical Support Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team in a remote capacity, with the option to work from our Pordenone, Italy office if preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
* Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs, including both product and service-related support.
* Develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs, and establish customer rapport with products and services.
* Collaborate with all facets of the customer’s organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
* Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training.
* Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization.
* Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback.
* Support team members and peers in achieving KPIs.
* Participate in all product and business promotional activities and regional/international trade shows.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or R&D department.
* Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
* Understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills in English and at least one European language.
* Highly motivated, self-sufficient, capable of managing multiple projects.
* Willingness to travel domestically frequently, with occasional international and weekend travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
* Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus but not required.
