The candidate is responsible to manage the relationships with suppliers, follow and execute the Commodity strategies, ensure timely and efficient sourcing of Core Hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, accumulators, cartridges, braking systems, cylinders, steering systems etc.) and support production with the procurement of parts, where criticalities exist. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManages the purchase of medium‑high complexity production parts for plant in Europe in the Hydraulic Components Mechanical commodity group. /li liResponsible for tactical and strategic activities involved with the purchase of critical production parts within assigned commodity. /li liSupports function for new product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost reduction and sourcing strategies, leading to improved quality, technology and timely delivery performance. /li liDrives, forecasts and reports economic savings performance, negotiates price reductions, increases and long‑term agreements, market test and award new business to maximize leverage, analyzes various reports to capture opportunities. /li liSupply/Relation Champion /li liEscalation to resolve supply base issues /li liProduct cost disputes invoicing issues /li liQuality concerns /li liDelivery delays product development timing delays /li liContract negotiations /li liCommercial agreements /li liMaster supply agreements /li liRaw material indexation agreements /li liWarranty agreements /li liCo‑development agreements /li liNon‑disclosure agreements /li liCompliance agreements /li liImplement the long‑term purchasing strategies to secure the supply of products /li liBest cost, acceptable quality, on‑time delivery /li liBest in class product innovation and development /li liIdentify product innovation industry trends /li liIdentify market demands competitive benchmark /li liCreate purchasing price list and contracts in the GPP system /li liUpdate contracts and part number changes after potential technical changes, accomplished negotiations, carry over of p/n to new platform etc. /li /ul h3Experience Required /h3 ul liShort/ Master Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business preferred /li liFluent English /li liExcellent knowledge in Excel and the Office package /li liRelevant product/ commodity knowledge /li liKnowledge of supplier’s market for the relevant product/commodity /li liMinimum 3 years’ experience in the position /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liNegotiation skills to achieve results /li liAbility to work under pressure /li liExcellent organizational skills /li liAble to independently make some decisions that also affect the team /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills /li liGood team work orientation /li liSense of initiative /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
