Overview
DHL Supply Chain, the global leader in contract logistics and integrated supply chain solutions, is looking for a Key Account Manager – Life Sciences & Healthcare (Pharma). The Key Account Manager will lead, manage, and grow the overall customer engagement for an assigned portfolio within the Life Sciences & Healthcare (Pharma) sector. The KAM will develop customer-centric strategies, build strong long-term relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive profitable growth in line with DHL Supply Chain’s business strategy.
Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service across all commercial and operational topics.
* Increase business, explore new opportunities and develop new projects from existing clients.
* Drive profitable development within the assigned customer portfolio.
* Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders (decision makers, influencers, gatekeepers).
* Collaborate with external partners such as carriers, packing companies, trucking providers for special projects.
* Work with other DHL divisions to develop end-to-end supply chain solutions.
* Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service.
* Conduct regular performance dialogues.
Requirements
* Degree in Economics or Engineering.
* At least 10 years of experience in Key Account Management or Sales roles, ideally within logistics/supply chain industries.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage complex scenarios.
* Fluent in English.
