A Japanese company is currently recruiting a Sales Manager/ Sales Representative to work in their Milan office.
In this role, you will be responsible for wholesale of food and tenant development sales in Italy, along with management and operations as an assistant to directors in Japan.
The ideal candidate should have experience in food industry B2B sales or new business development, management skills, and fluency in English and Italian.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill is beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:
? Wholesale and tenant development sales within Italy
? Market research, business strategy formulation, and proposal of ideas
? Preparation of sales reports
? Business trips within Italy and Japan as required
? Sales activities within Italy
? Comprehensive management support for the Italian subsidiary office, approximately 30 domestic tenants, and factories
? Financial management (fundraising, operations, preparing financial statements, financial analysis, budget vs. actual management, balance sheet and profit and loss management,
? cash flow management, preparing cash flow statements, achieving annual financial targets)
? Supporting labour and personnel management (recruitment, personnel affairs, payroll management, team building, development and management, employee performance evaluation, resignation procedures)
? Prevention and resolution of internal issues
? Goal setting, operational improvement, design and enhancement of business processes, subordinate development and management
? Market research, business strategy formulation, proposal of ideas
? Formulation, execution and analysis of company objectives, business strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs)
? Implementation and compliance with company policies
? Reporting company performance and results to the Board of Directors
? Business travel within Italy and Japan as required
? Support for resignation procedures
Ideal Candidate:
? Essential: B2B sales experience or new business development experience within the food industry
? Excellent team management and communication skills
? Business-level proficiency in English and Italian
? Valid driving licence
? Essential: B2B sales experience or new business development experience within the food industry
? Essential: Practical experience in management support or managerial roles within Europe
? Practical experience in finance, human resources, labour management, and operational management
? Excellent team management and communication skills
? Proficiency in English and Italian at a business level
