Req ID: 484765 Role Overview The Design Engineering Domain/Metier Department Head leads the engineering team responsible for the preliminary and detailed design of Onboard projects involving SCMT and ERTMS technologies for domestic and international projects. Responsibilities include defining and implementing engineering strategy, developing team competencies, managing project execution, and fostering continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Define and implement engineering vision, strategy, and guidelines in coordination with the Project Engineering Manager. Develop and maintain domain competencies, coach the team, and promote growth of engineering expertise. Set team goals, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met. Promote effective communication and uphold Alstom values within the team. Support project deployment based on system design architecture. Prepare and lead management reviews. Develop and govern team strategies with stakeholders. Establish best practices for workshare and process improvement. Encourage resource development and manage workload capacity.
