As our Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth across the country, which contributes to our regional success. Reporting to the Sales Director/Associate Sales Director and working in partnership with the team to identify and seize new business opportunities, engaging with clients at a strategic level to showcase our unique value propositions. What You’ll Do
A Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager.
- Build Bridges: cultivate and nurture long‑lasting relationships with current, new, and potential clients, flexing organizational skills to under‑promise and over‑deliver.
- Surrounded by support: close deals with the support of a dedicated team and training tools, templates, and industry‑leading professionals.
- Pipeline Pioneer: identify and build a robust pipeline, explore familiar territories, and venture into new markets.
- Brand Ambassador: represent CBRE at industry events, network, and showcase professionalism. Be the face of the brand and raise its profile in your local market.
What You’ll Need
- Proven sales experience with a proactive approach to client management, closing deals, and creating an unforgettable client experience.
- Experience delivering presentations and adapting your communication style to a wide mix of clients.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities for clients and your team. Responsiveness, working at pace, listening to the client, and follow‑through.
- Strong examples/experience of creating a high‑energy sales culture that fosters excellence and growth.
- A proven passion, behavioral drive, and a desire to achieve high performance.
