Business Development Manager – Defence, Aerospace & Security Sector
Our organization is seeking a Business Development Manager with proven experience in complex institutional and industrial environments, capable of operating on high‑technology products and solutions.
Technical and Professional Requirements
• Degree in Electronic, Aerospace, Naval Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical, commercial, or institutional roles, or prior service in the Italian Armed Forces.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, technical specifications, and inter‑service dynamics.
• C1/C2 level English, with strong technical and institutional communication skills.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and institutional representation skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset, operational autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Availability for frequent travel in Italy and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
• Development of business opportunities in the Defence, Aerospace, Security, and Dual‑Use sectors.
• Management of relationships with manufacturing industries, Armed Forces, government bodies, system integrators, and industrial partners.
• Technical analysis of customer requirements and definition of the most suitable solutions.
• Promotion of products and services from leading international companies, with a focus on advanced technologies.
• Coordination with technical teams, engineering, product management, sales management, and procurement.
• Market analysis, technology scouting, and contribution to growth strategy development.
• Participation in trade shows, technical meetings, demonstrations, and institutional activities.
