The ideal candidate will have experience in Service Assurance and Security, with a primary focus on Service Assurance. This role involves extensive customer engagement, technical consultation, and collaboration with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities. /ppbKey Responsibilities : /b /pulliCollaborate with Account Managers and Regional Directors to develop business and technical strategies. /liliAssess prospects’ needs and develop strategies to secure business. /liliSupport sales decisions with technical expertise. /liliIdentify business challenges and propose effective solutions. /liliProvide technical support, including PoCs, bakeoffs, and product demonstrations via WebEx or onsite. /liliBuild relationships across customer IT infrastructures to uncover opportunities. /liliAssist in achieving sales targets through technical and strategic support. /liliTravel within Italy (40-50%) as required, based in Italy. /li /ulpbPreferred Skills Qualifications : /b /pulliMinimum 10 years in IT or 7 years in pre-sales roles such as Network Engineer or Application Engineer. /liliExperience working directly with customers to understand and solve technical challenges. /liliProven success in pre-sales achievements. /liliStrong networking, application knowledge, and familiarity with Linux/Windows. /liliRegional business experience and cultural familiarity. /liliTechnical expertise in Cisco routing, switching, TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP, LAN/WAN topologies, security, and network infrastructure. /liliKnowledge of network performance management, fault management, and tools like HP/OV, IBM Tivoli, EMC SMARTS, ArcSight, nGenius. /liliCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (plus). /liliExperience with SDN/NFV, virtualization, cloud environments, and security audits is a plus. /liliFormal sales training (e.g., Sandler, Siebel, Afterburner). /liliExcellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. /liliBachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; MBA is a plus. /li /ulpuRequirements : /u Full-Time, based in Italy, fluent in English.
