You will create strategies, tools, cutting data and provide the best solutions that meet our customer expectations. You will work on assignments to deliver our customers competitive engineered projects through industry-leading manufacturing processes which will lower the customer’s total cost of ownership and secure sustainable after-market sales growth for us.Your main tasks and responsibilities will be the following:Leading General Machining projects and ensuring that it will deliver according to company business objectives;Determining machining technology in close collaboration with the customer;Working on the best tooling strategies to provide an efficient machining cycle, including special tooling requirements and CAM simulations;Defining cutting parameters and tool life;Taking into account the machining environment, machining setup and part fixturing, customer machining habits, part quality criteria, etc;Preparing presentation materials and make presentations for internal and external customers, as well as, for training purposes;Working closely with our sales team, providing an initial quote, assist and visit customers for process testing or implementations;Establishing and maintaining contacts with customers and external sales partners;Supporting established sales targets at targeted customers.At Sandvik Coromant you will work in a structured context, supported by a capillary organization and constant training opportunities to encourage professional integration and growth.About YouWe are looking for a talented profile that has the motivation and passion to contribute and add value to a market leader Company, constantly focused on innovation and the future:Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience;Relevant application knowledge and experience in metal cutting and machining technologiesSolid knowledge of machine tool concepts;Experience in all industry segments and good vision of machining process implementation on production sites;Knowledge of 2D and 3D designKnowledge of CAM programmingProject planning skills and organization, ideally in a cross-border environment, with project control competences and reporting;Effective communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts and techniques; ability to effectively convey, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, info, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Teamwork: understanding the necessity and value of teamwork; ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to work in a networked / matrix organizationItalian native speaker and good level of English, both verbally and in writing;Very good command of MS Office applications, such as O365Based in Italy (flexible locations) with possibility of working from homeOpen to business trips in Italy and abroadHow to applySend your application to www.sandvik.com/careers no later than 25th May, 2025Sandvik Coromant is an equal opportunity employer.
