We are looking for a Chef de Partie to lead one of our kitchen sections within a Luxury 5-Star Hotel, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for a strong technical professional ready to take full ownership of a section, mentor junior team members, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience through precision, discipline, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Operations & Quality
- Manage and lead an assigned kitchen section (hot, cold, pastry, etc.) - Ensure consistency in food preparation, plating, timing, and presentation - Oversee mise en place, cleanliness, and operational readiness before each service - Ensure full compliance with recipes, SOPs, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Service & Guest Experience
- Deliver dishes that consistently meet 5-star quality expectations - Support special menus, tastings, and high-volume services as required - Coordinate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth operations
Financial & Sustainability
- Control food costs within the section through portion control and waste reduction - Monitor stock levels, storage, and labeling to minimize spoilage - Promote sustainable practices and efficient use of ingredients
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor Commis and Apprentices within the section - Support onboarding and day-to-day development of junior team members - Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive team culture
Innovation & Collaboration
- Contribute ideas for dish improvements and menu development - Participate in tastings, seasonal updates, and culinary promotions - Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in quality or luxury kitchens - Solid technical skills combined with strong organizational abilities - High attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to perform under pressure - Team-oriented professional with values of care, integrity, respect, and continuous improvement
