The Role:
This position involves identifying customer needs for legacy Evoqua ISS products (now WSS Expansion) and providing tailored solutions. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets by acquiring new customers, promoting products and services to existing clients, and developing market opportunities through up- and cross-selling. Collaboration with customers, partners, and internal teams, including European stakeholders, is essential to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Acquire, develop, and manage existing and new prospects.
* Identify market potential and qualify accounts, prioritizing based on change, potential, and segmentation within a strategic sales plan.
* Build and maintain strong networks with clients and stakeholders.
* Schedule appointments with clients and prospects to initiate sales processes.
* Identify customer needs and recommend WSS Expansion products and solutions accordingly.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders.
* Serve as the local contact for commercial issues during project implementation.
* Align product offerings with customer needs, delivering compelling value propositions that differentiate us from competitors, and apply suitable sales approaches per account and context.
* Manage customer funnel strategies for direct and indirect channels, including service partners and distributors.
* Gather market intelligence on competitors' products and customer feedback to inform strategy.
* Meet or exceed sales targets through personal and regional objectives.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including opportunities, contracts, correspondence, and customer relations.
* Collaborate with third-party contractors when necessary to explore mutually beneficial solutions, fostering trust.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with comparable products or within the technical sector; experience in the industrial sector is a plus.
* Affinity with technical products, especially in wastewater or clean water treatment, is advantageous.
* Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
