At our iconic Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, we are seeking a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our Pastry team (comprising 6 Pastry Talents) for the 2025 season. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for pastry and hospitality, reporting directly to our Pastry Chef.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Prepare specific food items, such as pastries, chocolates, cakes, etc.
* Follow the directions provided by our Pastry Chef.
* Collaborate with the rest of the Kitchen and restaurant team to ensure high-quality food and service.
* Support and oversee commis de partie and trainees within the Pastry Team.
Requirements:
* At least one year of experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant or 5-star hotels.
* Passion for service and a desire to grow professionally.
* Good communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and interpersonal skills.
* Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Italy at the time of application.
* Seasonal contract according to the C.C.N.L. Federalberghi, level 5, with potential for subsequent seasons.
