Position: Key Account Manager - Grocery Department: Grocery Reporting to: Team Lead Grocery Location: Italy (with up to 50% travel) Ready for a challenge?: About this role: We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Key Account Manager to support the expansion and growth of our partner portfolio in the Grocery sector, with a specific focus on regional GDO chains. This role will be responsible for both acquiring new partners and managing them, acting as a point of reference to ensure performance and objective achievement. The role involves commercial negotiation activities in the territory, managing relationships with acquired partners, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure an excellent partner experience. You will report to the Team Lead Grocery and travel up to 50% of the time. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: - Acquisition of regional GDO chains: Identify high-potential brands, conduct commercial negotiations, and finalize agreements to bring them onto the platform. - Post-onboarding client management: Act as the main point of contact for acquired partners, ensuring compliance with operational standards and supporting them in optimizing their performance. - Implementation of growth strategies: Collaborate with partners to implement promotional plans, catalog updates, and commercial initiatives aimed at increasing orders and improving user experience. - Pipeline management and reporting: Monitor commercial opportunities and partner performance, sharing periodic updates with internal teams. - Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams (Catalog, Operations, Marketing) to ensure rapid onboarding, operational support, and continuous improvement actions. What will you bring to the table?: - Previous experience in commercial development and/or account management roles, preferably in FMCG, retail, or tech companies.: - Experience in direct client management, with a focus on performance, business growth, and maintaining long-term relationships. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a results-oriented approach and the ability to build trusting relationships. - Knowledge of Large-Scale Retail Distribution (GDO) dynamics, particularly regional chains. - A proactive approach and customer success orientation, with attention to operational and commercial details. - Fluent in Italian and a good level of professional English. - Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Gmail, Slides) and good data analysis skills. - Availability to travel regularly to manage negotiations and meetings with partners in the territory.
