We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Travel Agent, with experience in customer care call centers (inbound calls, emails, and chats) that can solve customer concerns and create a seamless customer experience.
Your role in BizAway : End-to-End Travel Management : Independently manage business travel requests from initial quotation to final confirmation.
Comprehensive Booking : Utilize a Global Distribution System (GDS) to plan and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other necessary services.
Policy-Compliant Guidance : Offer expert advice and recommend optimal travel solutions, strictly adhering to client corporate travel policies.
Adaptive Problem Solving : Professionally and promptly handle changes, cancellations, and unforeseen situations, including emergencies.
Client Relationship Management : Foster high client satisfaction and cultivate lasting professional relationships.
Your basic qualifications Proven experience of at least 3-5 years as a Travel Agent, preferably in the business travel (corporate travel) sector.
Excellent knowledge of English and one of these languages (Italian or Spanish or Portoguese or German or French language).
Excellent knowledge of at least one GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo ).
Strong customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
Precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stress.
Knowledge of tourism market dynamics, airfare rates, and visa regulations.
