Sales Manager North Italy

Sibelco is a global material solutions company. We mine, process, and sell industrial minerals at locations worldwide, focusing primarily on silica, clays, feldspathics, and olivine. We are also leaders in glass recycling. The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people. Location:

Milano HQ office, with work-from-home possibilities, in between travel, as long as a reasonable commuting distance to our office.


Role Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving maximum profitable growth and sales objectives in line with Sibelco’s vision and strategic objectives in all of North Italy. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities, commercializing new products, understanding the market, and building necessary market intelligence to retain and extend the customer portfolio.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Being accountable for the sales of Sibelco group products and achieving maximum profitable growth and sales objectives (volume, Net Sales, and Gross Margin) in line with company policies.
* Visiting customers and potential customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and developing sales into new applications.
* Developing market intelligence by understanding customer needs, competitors, trends, and local legislation to retain and extend the customer portfolio.
* Developing and achieving budgeted sales targets year after year.
* Setting prices and payment terms in line with Sibelco’s pricing and payment structures for the region and achieving financial targets, including receivables and payment terms.
* Partnering with Operations & Supply Chain to ensure timely information flow for scheduling activities.
