Our client is a historic Italian company in the technical and decorative lighting sector. We are looking for a Sales & Product Manager for a new business unit focused on Acoustic Solutions. The main objective of the role will be to develop the strategy and launch the brand in the European market. The company is internationally recognized for the innovation, quality, and tradition of its products and custom solutions that adapt to every customer need and spaces (residential, office, hospitality, etc).
Responsibilities
In particular, he/she will be in charge of:
* Support in defining the product launch strategy (analysis of the benchmark, pricing, 360° assets development) in order to reporting on sales performance and sharing results and commercial trends with the management.
* Definition of the product catalogue and price list based on market requirements, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, and development of content for website, newsletter, sales and training presentations.
* Presentation of the brand to the european architects and interior designers, supporting the international sales network.
* Identification of business opportunities and development of new market prospects in the lighting/acustic segment in order to increase the performance of the assigned areas, in line with the objectives shared with the management.
* Monitoring the performance of competitors in various European markets and devising marketing and commercial strategies for every need and market, in line with product positioning and company guidelines.
Requirements
* Measurable experience in the sector lighting/design/furniture and in particular acoustic sector with a technical product.
* Proven experience as a Product Marketing or Trade Marketing almost 5/6 years.
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, supported by a solid commercial mindset
* Professional knowledge of English (direct and very frequent link with US team).
* Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Previous experience or knowledge of the A&D industry is desirable but not mandatory.
* Demonstrates adaptability and dynamics, with a strong ability to navigate priorities and emerging platforms, and able to independently troubleshoot challenges.
* Opportunities to travel internationally.
