DXC Technology Italia is looking for a Software Developer to join the Applications Service DXC Team. The Application Services cover four areas: Applications Development; Applications Modernization and Transformation; Testing and Digital Assurance; Applications Management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced parts of applications (upgrades or conversions).
- Use appropriate solutions/tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems.
- Interact with client-facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
- Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree (technical fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc. preferred).
- Experience and knowledge of digital development services, Agile application development, DevOps, cloud-based applications, microservices architecture and patterns.
- Strong technical experience writing code using Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), single-page application frameworks, microservices, Docker, design patterns, architecture design and database SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps.
- Ability to work with web-development tools for new applications.
- Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.

Compensation
The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €36,000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per il personale dipendente da imprese esercenti servizi di telecomunicazione) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
