Accountabilities
The rule will require to understand vehicle system functions and analyse the diagnostic and maintenance data with the scope to:
* identify the cause of the fault and support the maintenance staff to repair it.
* Support the driver to manage the fault when it happens with the scope to reduce its effect on the vehicle mission.
* define requirements to develop algorithms that generate Automatic work orders to maintenance staff
* support design department to improve vehicle system design and functions
* support maintenance engineer department to improve maintenance plan and procedures
Required Skills/Knowledge
It is our expectation that successful applicants should be able to demonstrate all of the experience and skills listed below:
* From 2 to 4 years of experience in railway vehicle systems design or Vehicle maintenance engineer
* Expert to interpret electrical drawing, pneumatic drawings, system specification software specification and mechanical drawings
* Understanding of RCM principles and methodology
* Expert in Railway vehicle system functions
* Expert to analyze and correlate data from different sources (e.i. vehicle diagnostic events, maintenance reports, etc)
* Expert to define maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
* Able to perform statistical analysis including quality control.
* Able to use diagnostic tool
* Problem solving
Education/Qualifications
Electrical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering master Degree or equivalent technical background or equivalent technical background
Languages
Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken).
