The Hoxton opened its doors in Florence, capital of Italy’s Tuscany region and home to some of the world’s most famous masterpieces of Renaissance art, architecture and monuments. This eye-candy city is packed with culture and is the birthplace of gelato – we did not need any persuading to make it our second home in the country.
The Hoxton in Florence feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard. There is also a basement meeting and events space.

Job Description
What you'll do..
Reporting to our Director of Finance you will be responsible for assisting with accounting daily operations.
* Coordinate and manage general accounting operations (accounting records, adjustment entries, accruals and deferrals, amortizations).
* Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing according to national and/or international accounting principles
* Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses to support management.
* Reconcile bank accounts, customers, suppliers and other balance sheets.
* Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and mandatory declarations.
* Monitor tax and regulatory compliance (VAT, direct taxes, CU, 770, etc.).
* Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes
