OverviewCapofaro Resort Relais & Châteaux is a charismatic villa nestled on the island of Salina in the Aeolian archipelago, offering guests an intimate, elegant, and authentically Mediterranean hospitality experience.Restaurant Manager ResponsibilitiesGuide and inspire a food and beverage team in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.Collaborate with the chef to develop and implement innovative menu items and daily specials.Manage reservations and table layout to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health code regulations.Analyze sales data and financial reports to monitor revenue against budget and identify opportunities for improvement.Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.Coordinate with other departments to provide impeccable service.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for all restaurant functions.Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve service quality and efficiency.Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.Organize and supervise special events and promotions to drive business growth.Required QualificationsProven experience as a restaurant manager in a high-end dining establishment.Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a collaborative approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including Italian cuisine and wine.Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and health code requirements.Proven financial and budgeting management skills.Additional Skills and PreferencesStrong customer service orientation with attention to detail.Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).Food safety certification (required).Proficiency in English; Italian knowledge is an advantage.Adaptability and decision-making ability in a dynamic environment.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.BenefitsCapofaro offers a dynamic, growth-oriented work environment that values people, training, teamwork, and work-life balance.
