An IT consulting company, specialized in boosting software delivery are currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Nicosia based team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Develop a growth strategy that reflects both the market trends and company goals
2. Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
3. Seek out key customers and form a robust relationship with them
4. Identify and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
5. Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
6. Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
7. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
8. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
9. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
10. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
11. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software & sales intelligence platforms.
13. Knowledge and understanding of the cloud, DevOps & software delivery.
14. Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
15. Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
16. Comfortable with a culture of quickly testing and iterating strategies.
17. Superior negotiation skills and understanding of contract/legal terms.
18. Able to travel as needed.
