Your mission
* Your mission: Market Responsibility: Manage and develop Mondi's Container Board business across the Italian market, driving sustainable volume growth and profitability in a highly competitive and dynamic environment.
* Customer Portfolio Ownership: Take full commercial responsibility for a defined portfolio of customers, strengthening long-term partnerships and expanding market share.
* Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities while increasing share of wallet with existing customers in the corrugated and converting segments.
* Relationship Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships at multiple levels, acting as a reliable and long-term partner.
* Market Intelligence & Pricing: Continuously monitor market developments, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics in an oligopolistic and volatile commodity environment. Actively contribute to pricing strategies and negotiations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, product management, finance, and technical customer service to ensure reliable service and tailored commercial solutions.
* Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate forecasts and commercial insights to support strategic planning and performance management.
Your profile
* Proven experience in B2B sales within the paper, containerboard, corrugated, or related commodity industries.
* Strong understanding of commodity market dynamics, price volatility, and margin management.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships in relationship-driven markets.
* Experience in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and profitability steering.
* Commercially and financially astute, with a structured and analytical mindset.
* High level of resilience and adaptability in fast-changing market conditions.
* Fluent Italian and English.
* Willingness to travel as required.
