Charter:
Successful candidate will utilize their proven track record in international logistics to identify, qualify and sell into new accounts whilst establishing and maintaining profitable business relationships with existing customers through both cross and up-selling activities. The target audience will be in the LSH verticals. Geographical coverage will be Europe.
Responsibilities:
1. Take sales ownership, as an individual contributor, for regional or multi-regional companies not currently conducting business with PSA/BDP International in the assigned region.
2. Establish long-term business relationships with prospects.
3. Have a ‘Hunter’ mentality and develop strategic solutions unique to each company to reduce overall logistics costs whilst improving sales to current and new customers.
4. Enhance customer relationships (new and existing) throughout their contract to encourage contract renewal and/or extension, or issuance of a new RFP.
5. Work closely with each region; use available resources from the group to transfer and share all knowledge about potential clients.
Exemption Type Exempt (Salaried) Job Requirements
6. Minimum of five years of strategic sales in LSH logistics
7. Self starter
8. Track record of creating and enabling revenue streams.
9. Strong relationships with Tier 1 and mid-size LSH suppliers
10. Solid knowledge of international and domestic logistics.
11. Experienced in bundling end-to-end services including digital to create solutions to address specific needs
12. Excellent presentation skills, as well as strong in verbal and written communication.
13. Ability to effectively network and influence prospects from senior to executive level.
14. Strong negotiation skills.
15. Excellent interpersonal and people management skills, as well as ability to work well with various cultures.
16. High degree of integrity.
17. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
18. University degree preferred.
