Audit Role
Associates work with large and small companies across various industries, developing strong relationships with clients based on understanding their businesses and challenges.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding clients' needs, expectations, business, industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
* Developing an understanding of the audit approach and tools.
* Assessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structure.
* Performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
* Drafting financial statements in prescribed formats.
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum B.A / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university by the start of employment.
* Accounting major.
* Ability to travel to assigned locations, with access to reliable transportation.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%.
* Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
