Overview
Sales Area Manager Laundry you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth throughout an assigned geographical area in Italy (South Italy). You will manage and expand an existing distribution network and will be responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships directly with the marketing, service departments, key accounts and other decision makers in the area. The maintenance of the CRM system is a daily business, as is the creation and tracking of offers.
Responsibilities
* Drive profitable sales growth by developing the dealer network across the assigned geographical area
* Develop and expand a customer structure in the target area
* Develop and implement successful service and sales strategies
* Provide competent advice and support to customers throughout product presentation and product launch processes
* Secure a solid and regular base of sales per month
* Actively participate in trade shows and other industry events
* Provide market insight to identify growth opportunities and understand market needs
* Identify, set up and organize additional/alternative distribution channels
* Implement distribution agreements and pricing structures with management
* Develop promotions and actions to grow specific categories, regions or segments
* Involve the distribution network in the use of digital sales tools (CRM, calculators)
* Ensure sales support tools align with market needs
* Manage implementation of payment terms, credit limits and collection of receivables
* Collaborate with Sales Order Processing team
Qualifications and profile
* Graduation in any discipline
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B service and sales
* Experience in Hospitality sector is preferred
* Fluent Italian is mandatory; good English or other European language is a plus
* High customer and service orientation; enthusiastic about working with customers
* Solution-oriented, professional and credible
* Ability to establish credibility and trust by understanding customer business and needs
* Self-motivated, independent, and able to organize and prioritize workload
* Team player with strong verbal communication and influencing skills
* Able to work independently and on own initiative, delivering defined results
* Open to diversity and inclusion; capable of working in a multicultural environment
* Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time
