As part of the Italian region, the Category Manager focuses on the Retail Business, working closely with sales and marketing teams to develop the category strategy for frozen potatoes. The role involves supporting Key Account Managers with analysis and development plans to maintain a strong market share in the frozen category. About the Role Support sales with detailed analysis of customer assortment, positioning, and performance. Translate category strategy into planograms for customer sharing and partnership building. Define the best assortment per channel and client, and optimal shelf layout. Monitor category and brand performance, including customer monitoring through Statigest tools. Participate in meetings with local customers to propose suitable assortments and strategies. Collaborate with KAM and NAM to gather market insights and develop actionable commercial plans. Analyze shopper and consumer trends, customer assortment, and competition. Share market, competition, and product information with the team. Conduct sell-out analysis and monitor product distribution and performance. Work with Marketing and Quality teams to drive category growth and brand awareness. Assist in launching new products and market opportunities. Support reporting activities, performance assessment, and development of analysis tools for sales support. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Passion and understanding of the food industry. Experience in FMCG sector.
