As the Technical Sales Manager / Sales Engineer you will be responsible for:

* Developing relationships with both OEMs (automation machine manufacturers) in Italy and End Users (FMCG manufacturing businesses) in the Middle East and Africa.
* Travelling within Italy, Africa and the Middle East with an expectation of spending 30% of your time away from home.
* Developing business with new customers (20%) and new projects with existing customers (80%).
* Selling to Project Engineer, Director, Procurement Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager and Engineer level.
* Securing specifications on new and existing projects, with a typical sales cycle from 6 months to 2 years. xjrgpwk
* Understanding customer project challenges and providing guidance and input on the best practice solutions.
