Export Manager Asia
Main Responsibilities
The new team member will report to the owner of the company and will significantly contribute to shaping and implementing the commercial strategy, with a particular focus on markets in Asia Pacific. She/he will leverage existing and new partners abroad, utilizing various sales channels such as distributors, department stores, and retailers. She/he will also streamline actions within the company to enhance customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
* Extensive international sales experience with Made in Italy products for B2C markets (experience in textiles, furniture, and household products is a plus), with proven expertise in export-related matters and processes
* Strong business acumen
* Excellent intercultural communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to drive the international sales agenda, including preparing and managing meetings at various levels and effectively storytelling the company’s products, values, and legacy
* Leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate the sales team
* Passion for building long-lasting relationships with clients and sales networks across borders
* Understanding of competitors and monitoring market trends in the region
* Ability to incorporate market and client insights into internal processes (design, manufacturing, sales, logistics, etc.) and develop successful proposals for clients
* Proficiency in Italian, English, and other Asian languages (Chinese is a plus)
