For a pharmaceutical project based in the Florence area, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to support site execution through pre-commissioning, commissioning readiness, and handover within a regulated GMP environment.
Ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution of electrical construction activities, delivering a structured and traceable handover to commissioning and qualification phases in line with project and GMP requirements.
Key Responsabilities
* Manage and supervise electrical construction activities on site (installation, progress)
* Coordinate subcontractors and site teams, managing interfaces and construction priorities
* Enforce HSE requirements and site procedures (PTW, LOTO where applicable)
* Perform field quality checks, walkdowns, punch list management, issue resolution, and closure
* Prepare systems for pre-commissioning and commissioning, aligned with ITPs and test strategies
* Manage construction documentation: as-built drawings, test records, certificates, turnover packages
* Interface with Engineering, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth transition from construction to start-up
Requirements
* Proven experience as Construction Manager / Site Manager within the electrical discipline
* Solid background in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical or other regulated industries (GMP experience preferred)
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems: LV (and MV where applicable), panels, grounding, cabling, and interfaces with utilities and control systems
* Excellent contractor coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Fluent Italian (mandatory) for site activities and contractor coordination
* Good working knowledge of English in a project environment
