To strengthen our Team for our Southern European Sales Region, we are looking for an eager and enthusiastic Merchandiser Maternity Cover in a fashion growing reality in Milan.
Our Southern European sales region consist of the countries Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus and Malta, with its HQ in Milan.
The main of the Merchandiser is on stock buying, local pricing,discounts, strategy, performs competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness and product bench market in the term of pricing and styles in line with the commercial team for the Subregion (within the guidelines set by Region).
General Responsibilities
Planning:
1. Conduct merchandise planning for all local stores and wholesale accounts of the Subregion
2. Collaborate with Subregion Finance on budget and DF, including ensuring accuracy of stock situation locally
3. Support on prices for the Subregion
4. Perform store segmentation in accordance with commercial team
5. Perform product grading at the Subregion level in accordance with commercial team
6. Propose the discount strategy for the Subregion, and prepare discount planning and mark down management in the Subregion
Execution:
7. Create mark down list
8. Ensure adequate alignment withmarkets and stores within the Subregion
9. Assist in price load
10. Support and organize presentation for the kick off meetings
Analysis:
11. Perform competitor analysis
12. Keep track on in-season product performance
13. Provide post-season feedback to region
14. Conduct sell-through analysis for the Subregion
Communicate:
15. Organize and conduct market calls to align merchandising decisions
Events:
16. Participate in G2 activities
17. Participate in CP activities
Experience:
18. Minimum 5 years work experience, ideally in a product, merchandising or buying environment.
19. A passion for footwear and accessories.
20. Good commercial sense of the geographies within the Subregion and competitor landscape.
21. Experience working in an international and multi-cultural environment.
22. Good Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
