VIE - Industrial Controller (Opex & Capex) | ITALY
In this role you will manage operative expenses and CapEx for the shoes and leather goods business in Florence, reporting to the Industrial Controlling Director. You will lead budgeting, 3YP/5YP planning, variance analysis, and ROI-supported investment reviews. You will standardize and optimize financial processes, monitor costs, and deliver timely insights to top management. You will partner with operations to drive efficiency in a fast‑paced luxury environment and ensure data integrity. * Review, standardize, and optimize financial processes across divisions to boost efficiency and accuracy
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning (3YP/5YP) for CapEx and OpEx
* Analyze actual vs budget variances and provide management with detailed reports and commentary
* Ensure investment proposals are supported by solid business cases and ROI analyses
* Manage operating costs (electricity, rent, security, cleaning, maintenance, staff training, vehicle fleet, tools)
* Monitor monthly financial analyses to optimize OpEx against budget
* Provide timely, accurate financial reports to top management and ensure data integrity
* Address internal audit requirements with precision and efficiency
* Monitor project progress against budget (deadlines, time, cost, returns)
* Drive efficient management and reporting of CapEx and OpEx
* Ensure compliance with financial deadlines and reporting timelines
* Define and improve financial processes and workflows across plant operations
* Serve as a proactive business partner to operations with financial guidance
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
* 1–3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or cost control
* Fluent in English; French and/or Italian is a plus
* Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulatory frameworks
* Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Ability to work independently and in a team in a deadline‑driven environment
* Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
