Job Summary: The Junior Key Account Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – Italy is responsible for developing and maintaining high-value client relationships across the Italian energy sector. This role manages the full sales lifecycle—from identifying needs and proposing tailored solutions, to contract negotiation and ensuring successful project execution. The Jr. KAM will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class BESS solutions aligned with client expectations and company objectives in a rapidly evolving regulatory and market landscape. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts including utilities, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), EPC firms, developers, and grid operators across Europe. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring responsiveness, satisfaction, and long-term engagement. Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in the EU energy market within the designated Key Accounts,. Support the sales cycle: lead generation, needs assessment, and proposal creation.. Support the achievement of revenue targets and long-term growth by upselling and cross-selling related products or services. Engage early in project lifecycles to shape solutions based on client pain points and evolving market needs. Product and Technical Expertise Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BESS technology, International Standards (e.g., IEC, UL, EN standards), grid codes, and market-specific regulations (e.g., TSO/DSO requirements).
