PositionAs a Business Development Executive at Musixmatch, you will drive and execute partnerships, sales, and customer acquisition growth for Musixmatch's suite of products and services. You will be responsible for the entire sales and business development cycle, including partner prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.
Identify and pursue partnership and business development opportunities for Musixmatch's suite of products and services
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, finance, and leadership teams to structure and close deals
Lead negotiation of commercial terms and support contracts through to signature
Provide structured market and partner insights to inform product and business strategy
3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or complex B2B sales
Proven track record of closing deals and managing full sales cycles
Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders with credibility and without overselling
Clear and concise communicator (spoken and written)
Strong understanding of the music ecosystem, with an established network within record labels, distributors, and other key stakeholders
Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
Strong communication skills, professional fluency in English
Technically literate, comfortable articulating a world-class data service and capable of learning and integrating new technologies into sales strategies
