Commissioning engineer - commercial

The role combines commissioning of new equipment with ongoing field service responsibilities, including preventive and corrective maintenance and warranty support of compressors and systems at customer sites.
The position includes performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and functional testing to ensure each compressor is properly started up, maintained, and restored in accordance with the company’s technical, safety, and quality standards.
Perform commissioning of equipment and systems at customer sites.
Provide on‑site warranty support, including fault assessment and repair within warranty terms.
Collaborate with engineering, technical support, and customer service to resolve complex issues.
Train customers on proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality guidelines during all field activities.
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
Strong electrical background, with the ability to read wiring diagrams.
Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, or technical assistance on industrial equipment (preferred).
Advanced verbal/written communication skills.
Advanced operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and other basic computer usage. Proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad) and network bases.
Willingness to travel frequently.
